BP Power’s “Reaching Common Ground with Mental Health” awareness event on March 24, 2017 at the Bureau County Metro Center, 6:00-10:00 pm.
As you may know, BP Power is a youth coalition that exists to raise awareness of drug and alcohol abuse led by anti-substance abuse teen advocates and leaders in partnership with CPASA (Community Partners Against Substance Abuse) for fellow teens in Bureau and Putnam counties.
Please join BP Power and MTV’s ”Made” Teen Life Coach, Jeff Yalden, discuss and learn how to help yourself and others with issues of depression, anxiety, self-harm, and suicide prevention in an upbeat and interactive way! Although these issues may seem dreary, Jeff promises he not only will make you think, but also laugh and enjoy yourself. The doors will open at 5:30pm for registration. The program will begin at 6:00pm with a FREE Jimmy John’s dinner. You are also given the opportunity to bring any of your friends (grades 8-12) to attend this event with you!
We would be delighted for you to attend BP Power’s “Reaching Common Ground with Mental Health” awareness event. If you could please RSVP and PM or comment your t-shirt size, it would be greatly appreciated. We look forward to seeing you there!
