Scholarship) to be awarded to a graduate of any high school in Bureau, LaSalle, Marshall or Putnam counties or a 2 year graduate (A.A. degree) of Illinois Valley Community College or Sauk Valley Community college who will attend a 4 year university and major in Broadcast Journalism. Established a mentoring program that encourages young people (scouts, etc.) to visit the studios and explore the opportunities in broadcasting.  Ongoing
WZOE, WZOE-FM and WRVY-FM have been active participants in the Minority Internship Program through the IBA. We remain willing and able to mentor any young person put forward by the IBA.  Ongoing
