Princeton Community Band Concert

The Princeton Community Band will present a concert at 6 p.m. Sunday, July 20 in Soldiers and Sailors Park in Princeton. ¬†Featured will be Phil Kaufmann singing Gershwin’s “I Got Plenty o’ Nuttin’” from Porgy and Bess, as well as “At a Dixieland Funeral” with Dixieland Combo: Gene Montgomery, clarinet; Zach Taylor, trumpet; Tim Harris, trombone; Mitch Campbell, tuba; Aaron Nelson, drum set.

Three more brand new pieces on the bill include selections from “Les Miserables,” “The Best of Mancini” (The Pink Panther, Baby Elephant Walk, The Sweetheart Tree, Peter Gunn) and “Grand Canyon Suite” by Ferde Grof√©.

The concert is free, lawn chairs are suggested, and refreshments will be available for purchase.
