Obituary – Thomas Grundman

Thomas J. Grundman, 66, passed away at Liberty Village on Friday, November 16, 2018 surrounded by his loving children.

Tom was born on October 28, 1952 in Owatonna, MN to James and Elaine (Rustad) Grundman. Tom was a graduate of Princeton High School, class of 1971 and attended St. Johns University in Minnesota. He met and married the late Carol (Lewis) Grundman at St. Louis Catholic Church, Princeton, IL in 1974.

He worked various manufacturing companies including, Harper Wyman, Jostens and most recently LCN. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus. Tom enjoyed golfing, running and volunteering at Princeton High School sporting events.
Tom is survived by his father, James Grundman; two daughters, Jennifer (Eric) Pansegrau, Rachel (Eric) Waca; one son, John (Veronica) Grundman; six grandchildren, Matthew, Avery, Alexandra, Brecken, Norah and Frank; his mother-in-law, Melvina Lewis; one brother and two sisters.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Elaine Grundman; his wife, Carol, one daughter in infancy, Eileen; his father-in-law, Frank Lewis.

Visitation for Tom will be held on Wednesday, November 21, 2018, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at St. Louis Catholic Church, Princeton, IL

Services will be held at St. Louis Catholic Church, Princeton, IL, on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. officiated by Father Daniel Gifford. Graveside services to follow at Oakland Cemetery in Princeton, IL.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the family for charitable distribution.
