Jimmie D. Turner, 62, of Princeton, IL, died Wednesday at his home after a long battle with cancer.

A memorial services will be held 5 p.m. Tuesday in the Princeton Bible Church with Rev. Curtis Odell officiating. His family will receive friends from 4 p.m. until the time of services Tuesday in the Church. Arrangements are through the Fiocchi-Jensen Funeral Home, Princeton. Born on June 14, 1955 in Huntsville, AL, the son of Jimmie Sr. and Frances (Ethridge) Turner. He moved with his family to Lakeland, FL as a child in 1964 and grew up there.

He enjoyed traveling the country, riding his Harley, going deep sea fishing in the Gulf of Mexico and telling stories to make folks laugh. He drove tractor/trailers for over 40 years, mostly at McLane Co. and retired from driving in 2016 from Walmart.

He was a member of the Princeton Bible Church.

Jimmie is survived by his wife Judy of Princeton, IL and son Andrew of Lakeland, FL. Sister, Cathy (Bob) Ile of Lakeland, FL and Glenda Cantrell Smith of Pensacola, FL.

Preceded in death by his Parents and one brother, Mark.
