Richard E. “Dick” Woodley, 74, born April 13, 1943 to Wilbur and Maxine Woodley, passed away on March 23, 2018, enjoying the sunny rays of St. Petersburg, Florida.
Dick was a friend to all and loved his family unconditionally. He was involved in many local community organizations. He was retired from farming in the Manlius community and was an adjuster for Farmers Mutual Hail Insurance of Iowa.

He was the #1 fan in the bleachers at games and events of all of his grandchildren. He gave his grandchildren so many memories from bucket rides in his tractor, hunting asparagus on the farm and Christmas mornings with Papa.

Dick really enjoyed life to the fullest and loved spending time with his family and all of his friends.

Surviving relatives include; his three loving children, Randy (Triva) Woodley of Monticello, IN, Jeff Woodley of St. Petersburg, FL and Jill Woodley Kuhne of Princeton, IL. Siblings; Larry (Nancee) Woodley of Princeton, IL, Marilyn (Jim) Peters of Clinton, IA, Becky (Rick) Bruder of Granger, IN and numerous nieces and nephews. He took extreme pride in his five grandchildren; Colton, Tanner and Payton Kuhne; Cole and Addison Woodley.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilbur and Maxine Woodley, brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Shirley Woodley.

Visitation will be on Thursday, March 29, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. with a Memorial Service at 8:00 p.m. given by Reverend Brian Strom at Norberg Memorial Home. A celebration of life will be held at a later date and time.

Memorials may be directed to Bureau Valley Athletic Dept. or the family’s donor of choice.
