Date/ Place of Birth: September 15, 1937 in Peoria, Illinois the son of Charles Thomas and Ruth Richards (Gleam) Rees.

Marriage:  He married Mary Rose Aspesi in Carmel, California June 30, 1963. She preceded him in death August 30, 1995. 

Survivors:  one son: Thomas (Rachel) Rees of Longmont, Colorado; 3 daughters: Cynthia (Kent) Vaughn, of St. Joseph, Michigan, Janice (David) Clope of Peoria, Illinois, and Susan (Rob) Berry of Princeton; 10 grandchildren: Autumn (Brandon) Streetman, Michael Rees, and Alicia (Dutch) Warner, Olivia, Emma, Zoe, and Charlie Vaughn, Angela, Carlie, and Jacob Bickett; 2 sisters: Ann (Gene) Bartley South Bend, Indiana, Caroline Tecson of Riverside, Illinois.

Preceded in death:  his parents and his wife.

Education: Graduated from Bradford High School with the Class of 1955. He graduated from the University of Illinois in 1959 and went back to school to earn his CPA.

Military Service: Served as an Officer in the US Army from 1959 to 1961 and met his wife, Mary Rose, in Germany while she was teaching military students.

Employment: Owned and operated C.T. Rees and Son Grain Elevator until 1981. Then became a CPA and worked for Vicki Miller, Aetna Insurance, and Jackson Hewitt.

Memberships/Hobbies: Served on the Bradford School Board, Leet Memorial Methodist Church Board, Clerk for the Osceola Township Board for 40 plus years. Thomas attended all of his kids and grandkids sporting events.
