David “Dave” Glen Conner, age 65, of Ohio, Illinois died on Wednesday, January 3rd in Peoria.

Visitation is Friday, January 12th from 4 to 8 pm at Grant-Johnson Funeral Home, Princeton. Services are Sunday the 14th at 1 p.m. at the Green River Country Club in Walnut. You are asked to wear casual dress to both events. Cremation rites have been accorded. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Ohio, Illinois at a later date.

He was born January 10, 1952 in Dixon to Ted and Sue Conner. He graduated Walnut High School in 1970 and lived in Walnut until marrying Kathleen Ohda in 1978 at the Walnut Methodist Church. She survives in Ohio. Also surviving are 4 siblings: Dan Conner of Walnut, Darcy Conner of Arizona, Dawn Conner of Dixon, and Darren Conner of Arizona; seven nieces and nephews, and 6 great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded by his parents

He’d worked at Dant’s Harley Davidson, R.C. Ohda Farm Equipment and retired from Schoff’s Farm Service in 2017.

Memorials may be directed to the Ohio Fire Department or ABATE of Illinois in Galesburg.
