Lou McCauley, of Princeton, passed away on January, 1, 2018 at Liberty Village in Princeton.

Lou was born on April 2, 1930 in Princeton, IL to John R. and Inez Gertrude (Doore) Sapp. She graduated high school and went on to Bradley University in Peoria, IL. She married Joseph McCauley. Lou enjoyed playing Bridge, doing crossword puzzles and touring the country in antique automobiles with Joe. She loved to spend time with family and friends.

She is survived by two daughters, Dee Patnoe of Melbourne, FL.; Karen (Gerald) Kling of Princeton; three sons, John “Fred” (Jolene) McCauley of Princeton, Paul (Kathy) McCauley of Porter, IN.; and Martin (Suzanne) McCauley of Madison, WI. Also surviving are eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Lou was preceded in death by her husband and one son, Joseph E. McCauley III.
The family will receive friends for a Celebration of Life on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 from 10am until noon at Norberg Memorial Home. Cremation has been accorded.
