A Peru doctor is facing prison and a possible million-dollar fine after pleading guilty to trafficking in opioids. Federal prosecutors in Chicago say 66-year old Constantino Perales was accused of selling opioids to a man in 2013, knowing that the man planned to re-sell them illegally. He’s also accused of giving opioids and other drugs to three patients in exchange for sex, knowing that those patients were addicted. Perales is scheduled to be sentenced in March.
