(Decatur, IL) — No foul play is suspected after a woman was found dead by crews responding to a fire at a Decatur senior-living facility. Authorities say Jane Morthland was discovered Tuesday in her apartment at the Oxford House Apartments. An official cause of death is still pending. No other injuries were reported.

(Rockford, IL) — Authorities are searching for two men who robbed a Rockford Metro PCS store at gunpoint. Police say the suspects entered the store yesterday in the 38-hundred block of East State Street. The men threatened employees with a gun and took off with an undisclosed amount of cash and merchandise. No injuries were reported.

(Peoria, IL) — No one is hurt after a woman was grazed by a bullet this week in Peoria. Police say the shooting happened Tuesday in the 34-hundred block of West Fallen Oak Lane. The victim was shot while sitting inside an apartment. Her wound isn’t considered life-threatening.

(Carbondale, IL) — One man is in custody after several restaurant delivery drivers were robbed in Carbondale earlier this year. Bobby Barnes was arrested Monday after being located in Carbondale. The robberies happened in April. Barnes was charged with three counts of armed robbery and taken to the Jackson County Jail.
