Dale Warren Hildebrand

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Dale W. Hildebrand, age 95 of Princeton, on Friday, Sep 29, 2017 at 10:00 AM at the St. Louis Catholic Church. Father Daniel Gifford and Deacon John Murphy will officiate. Burial will follow in the Elm Lawn Memorial Park on Sep 29, 2017. The family will receive friends on Thursday, Sep 28, 2017 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Norberg Memorial Home, with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 PM. and 9:30 AM until the time of service on Friday at the church.

Mr. Hildebrand passed away on Monday, Sep 25, 2017 at Colonial Healthcare Center in Princeton. He was born on Jun 23, 1922 in Selby Township to Charles and Edith (Lenihan) Hildebrand. He graduated from Malden High School. Dale married Kathleen (Katie) Happ on Feb. 10, 1945 at St. Patrick’s Church in Arlington. She preceded him in 2012. He was a lifetime farmer in the Malden area. After his retirement from farming, they built a home in Princeton and he worked at Rudy Patrick and the Princeton Park District. He was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church, a member of Kiwanis Club and volunteered with Mobile Meals. He enjoyed going to his grandchildren and great grandchildren’s activities. He was a kind, generous and caring man and he will be missed by all.

Dale is survived by three daughter’s, Teresa (Jim) Jensen of Plano, Donna (John) Bouchard of Princeton and Betty (Ron) Kastor of Malden. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren;

and Laura (Paul) Jackson of Normal.
Also surviving are 22 great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Katie; one daughter, Barbara Pinter and two brothers.
