OBITUARY – Richard “Dick” Olin

Richard “Dick” Olin, 76, died on Thursday, August 23 at his home in rural Princeton.

He was born in Princeton on April 3, 1941 to Charles and Anna Olin.  After graduating from Princeton High School in 1960, he met Judith Gilbert and they were married on December 1, 1962 in Kasbeer.  Until his retirement a few years ago, he farmed north of Princeton.

He is survived by one sister, Shirley Clausen, daughter Lauri (Jack) Bonjour of Fayette, IA; son Todd (Cherri) Olin of Princeton, IL; son, Ken (Leslie) Olin of St. Peters, MO, and six grandchildren. He was preceded by his wife Judy; parents Charles & Anna; sister Judy Lindberg; two brothers Burt and Gail, and an infant daughter, Loretta.

Funeral services will be held on Monday at 10 am at Norberg Memorial Home in Princeton.  Visitation is 4 to 6 pm Sunday at the funeral home.  Interment will be in Limerick Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
