OBITUARY – Sharon Hand

Sharon M. Hand, 54, of Peru, passed away on July 16, 2017 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
Sharon was born on Jan 3, 1963 in Princeton, IL to Carl E. and Louise M. (Marconi) Lund. She was a 1981 graduate from Princeton High School. Sharon married Kim Hand in 1982 in Princeton, they later divorced. She was a long time employee of Princeton Walmart, and most recently Peru Target for 7 years. She enjoyed spending time with family, friends and her grandchildren. She liked bowling, traveling and was an avid fan of the Green Bay Packers and the Chicago White Sox, but she had a special spot in her heart for the Chicago Cubs.
She is survived by two daughters, Kayla (Aaron Taylor) Hand of Bradford; Kami Hand of Princeton; two sons, Kyle Hand of Illinois; Kody (Mickella Jones) Hand of Bureau; two sisters, Kathy (Jack) Leathers of Tampico; Sandie (Gerry) Anderson of Freeport; one brother, Carl (Susie) Lund of Tiskilwa; two grandchildren, Bradley Taylor and Hailie Hollingsworth; Also surviving is her best and most special friend, April Danihel of Peru as well as many nieces and nephews and honorary children.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Carol Headley and one brother, Wayne Lund.
The family will receive friends on Friday, July 21 from 10 am until Noon at the Norberg Memorial Home in Princeton.
Funeral Services will take place following the visitation at Noon. Burial will be in the Elm Lawn Memorial Park in Princeton.
