Anna Catherine Hamblin, 85, of Princeton, passed away on Friday, March 10, 2017, in Des Plaines, Illinois.

Services will be held 11 a.m., Friday, March 17, 2017, at the First United Methodist Church, Princeton with Rev. Brian Gilbert officiating. Interment will be 2 p.m. Saturday at the Elm Lawn Memorial Park, Princeton. The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Thursday at the Chapel of Fiocchi-Jensen Funeral Home, Princeton. Anna was born on November 2, 1931, in Carmi, Illinois, to Homer “Martin” and Florence (Wooten) Hamblin. She worked as a cost accountant at Western Electric/AT&T. She was an active member of the First United Methodist Church, Princeton. She was a United Methodist lay speaker for a number of years.

Anna is survived by: her 2 sisters, Mildred (Clem) Evans of Libertyville, Illinois; and Mary Garland of Sanford, Florida; and many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.

She was preceded in death by: 1 brother, John Hamblin.
