Lois G. Blair, age 86, of Princeton, Illinois and formerly of Rock Island, Illinois died Friday, June 13, 2014 at Methodist Medical Center in Peoria, Illinois.  Lois was born on February 9, 1928 in Princeton, Illinois, the daughter of Benjamin and Inez (Staples) Stocking. She was united in marriage to Gene Blair. He preceded her in death. She managed the cafeteria at the Eagle Distribution Center in Rock Island, Illinois during her lifetime. Lois was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Princeton. Lois is survived by three sisters Dorothy Jost of Rockford, Illinois, Nancy Brandau of Ohio, Illinois, Joanne Erven of Tiskilwa, Illinois; two brothers Jerry Stocking of Spring Valley, Illinois, Gary (Betty) Stocking of Wyanet, Illinois and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers, and three sisters.  Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 9 to 10 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church of Princeton. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church of Princeton with the Rev. George T. Woosnam, pastor officiating. Burial will be in Rose Lawn Memorial Estate in Moline, Illinois. A memorial has been established in her memory. The Garland Funeral Home of Walnut is in charge of arrangements.
