Two More Snow/Ice Related Crashes In The Illinois Valley

The latest winter storm added two more accidents to the long list of winter crashes.

54-year-old Janice Gebauer of  Sheridan lost control on N 41st Rd. in Northville Township yesterday morning after she hit a patch of slush and ice.

She entered a ditch, struck a guardrail and was transported to Valley West Hospital in Sandwich by Sheridan Ambulance.

41-year-old Patrick Kallas of Serena lost control on an ice patch while driving on Rt 52 in Serena Township.

Kallas left the road, entered a ditched and rolled at least one time.

He was taken to St. Elizabeth’s in Ottawa by Sheridan/Serena Fire and Ambulance.
